Taste Profile

A unique American Pale Ale with English malt character. Charlatan is generously hopped with Simcoe, Citra, and Centennial hops. Charlatan has fresh citrus and tropical flavors (mango, passion fruit, grapefruit). You might also pick up some earthy pine notes from the Simcoe. Low co-humulone bittering hops provide a smooth bitterness that balances Charlatan’s round malt backbone to create an extremely drinkable pale ale.

For our 10 year Anniversary we are triumphantly bringing back some retired beers and original recipes! Charlatan has had some changes through the years and is not exactly as it started back in 2015.
